COOKIE POLICY — ARSHADES WEBSITE

Version 1.2.0 — Updated: 22 October 2026 — Effective: from its publication on the new ARShades website

This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used by the website presenting the ARShades solutions (the “Site”) and supplements the Website Privacy Policy.

The data controller is Spaarkly s.r.l., Via della Tecnica n. 18, 85100 Potenza (Italy). Contact: privacy@spaarkly.com.

1. What we use and why

Cookies are small files saved in your browser. localStorage and IndexedDB also store information on your device.

  • Technical and necessary functional: they store your cookie choices, language and theme, protect forms from abusive submissions and support the functions you request, such as saving a photo in VTO Explorer. They are used only to provide the functions you request and do not require consent under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. For the personal data processed for these purposes, the legal basis under the GDPR is legitimate interest in providing those functions (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Analytics: we activate Google Analytics 4 only with your consent, to measure visits and interactions and to produce usage statistics (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We do not use Google Signals, advertising features or remarketing.

Cookies saved on the Site's domain are first-party, even when used by Google Analytics. The _GRECAPTCHA cookie, saved on Google's domain, is third-party. The expiry of the Analytics cookies may be renewed with your visits; the browser may limit their actual duration.

The retention of user and event data in Google Analytics for 14 months is separate from the duration of the cookies. For the data collected, recipients, international transfers and your rights, see the Website Privacy Policy.

3. How to choose and change your preferences

In the banner you can choose “Accept all” or “Reject all” for optional cookies, or customise your choice. Analytics is disabled by default; refusing does not prevent you from using the Site. Continuing to browse does not amount to giving consent.

You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time from “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Withdrawal results in the deletion of the _ga* cookies, without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.

Your choice remains stored for 12 months. The banner may reappear on expiry, if the choice is no longer available, for example because you have cleared your cookies, or in the event of substantial changes that require new choices.

A minimal record of your choice, without IP address or user-agent, is kept on our servers for up to 26 months after each record is made. The purposes and legal bases are set out in the Website Privacy Policy.

You can delete the photo with “Delete photo” in the demo. In your browser settings you can also delete or block cookies and other local data; this may prevent your preferences from being remembered.

4. Embedded demos

The embedded ARShades experiences may use technical storage on the domains from which they are served, for example to remember the language or the open catalogue. Other processing in the demos is described in the Privacy Policy of the ARShades solutions.

The map in the Gateway demo is provided by Google Maps, for which Google acts as an independent controller: see the privacy policy and information on Google's cookies.

5. Updates

The updated version is published on this page. If we introduce cookies or purposes that require new consent, we will update the information and ask for your choice before activating them.
