What's changed
This release makes the try-on truer to life and the interface cleaner.
- Adaptive fit The frame rests on the face without sinking into it or floating above it, and the temples stay hidden behind the ears.
- 3D view in the try-on With one button, the customer lifts the frame off the face and turns it all the way round to look at its shape, materials and finishes.
- Positioning guide An outline on the screen prompts the customer to keep their face straight and centred, so the frame is positioned better.
- More faithful lighting Reflections on the frame are more realistic, and the way light is rendered can be tuned to the brand's style.
- Cleaner interface Tidier controls and, on mobile, a privacy notice that stays out of the way until it is needed.
Why it matters
The try-on comes closer to trying glasses on in front of a shop mirror. Customers choose with more confidence and can look at the frame from every side. On mobile, the try-on is also smoother. The update comes through automatically: there is nothing for you to install or change.
