Glasses Removal: try on frames without taking off your glasses

Glasses Removal lets customers keep their prescription glasses on during Virtual Try-On. Their real frame is removed from the video and replaced by the one they want to try on.

What's changed

Glasses Removal is now available in Virtual Try-On for customers who need their glasses to see the screen.

  • Prescription frames removed from view The frame the customer is wearing is removed from the image before the virtual frame appears.
  • Real-time try-on The new frame follows the customer's face in the video, with no need to take or upload a photo.
  • Entirely in the browser Customers open the experience from the virtual try-on, with no app to install.
  • Video processed on the device Processing takes place on the customer's phone or computer.

Why it matters

Offer virtual try-on to customers who struggle to see the screen without their prescription glasses. They can keep their glasses on and see the new frame on their face, without it overlapping their real frame.
