What's changed
The new experience guides customers from preparation through to reading their result.
- Measure with a card Customers hold a card the size of a bank card against their forehead and follow the guidance to use it as the measurement reference.
- Measure without a card Customers without a card can choose the standard camera-only measurement.
- Guided positioning Visual and voice guidance help customers adjust their distance, lighting and face position before capture.
- Calculated on the device Pupillary distance is calculated on the customer's phone or computer, without sending images or video from the camera.
- Measurement result Customers can then see their right, left and total pupillary distance.
Why it matters
You can offer measurement using a reference of known size, while keeping an option for customers without a card. Customers receive guidance throughout the measurement and get their result directly in the browser.
